What you'll do

• Assume responsibility for department operations in the Director of Pharmacy’s absence
• support staff and hospital education on pharmaceutical care and medication management
• monitor medication use, costs, outcomes, and pharmacy processes
• procure medications and supplies
• oversee dispensing, compounding, inventory, automated dispensing cabinet restocking, and documentation
• verify medication orders
• provide drug information and patient medication education
• participate in interdisciplinary activities and medication reconciliation
• report medication events and concerns.
