PRN Medical Assistant

Job overview

The PRN Medical Assistant role is onsite at multiple locations in the Houston, TX area, with day-shift hours varying between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour. What you'll do

• Welcome patients
• direct or accompany them to examination rooms and help position them
• arrange instruments, supplies, and equipment
• interview patients and review or record medical history
• take vital signs, height, and weight
• perform spirometry, fundus photography, ANS/Sudo testing, and neural testing, with training provided
• document accurately in medical records
• inventory and order supplies
• maintain a safe and healthy work environment
• protect confidential patient information.
