What you'll do

• Assist the sedation dentist or oral surgeon through patient care
• obtain and document medical histories
• prepare and reassure patients
• set up and reset operatories
• maintain emergency supplies
• monitor vital signs and IV fluids and record sedation status
• prepare pre- and post-operative communications
• maintain biopsy logs
• review post-operative instructions
• sterilize instruments
• capture radiographs, CT scans, and intraoral images
• track supplies and prosthetic cases.
