What you'll do

• Perform general X-rays and portable imaging
• position patients to obtain diagnostic-quality images
• follow ALARA principles and physician instructions
• prepare radiography equipment
• document each exam in the EMR
• communicate exam details and status to radiologists
• submit studies to after-hours services
• complete exam charges
• provide DICOM images or CDs when requested
• report equipment and department issues
• work toward radiologic competencies and learn new modalities.

Why this role

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, subject to organizational needs. Requires graduation from an ARRT-recognized two-year technical program, a current Minnesota radiology license by the ARRT, and current BLS certification. The role may assist at the Onamia Hospital as needed.
