Shipping and Receiving Specialist – Labor and Forklift

Compensation is $20–$0 per hour. The Shipping and Receiving Specialist – Labor and Forklift role is onsite in Houston, TX, at a chemical processing facility. The role supports the facility’s movement and handling of powdered and liquid chemical products while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. The specialist coordinates incoming materials and outgoing shipments, maintains inventory records, and supports materials availability for production, quality, and procurement teams. What you'll do

• Receive raw materials, chemicals, packaging supplies, and other goods
• verify quantities and quality against purchase orders and shipping documents
• prepare, package, label, and document outgoing shipments, including hazardous materials
• operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and drum lifters
• maintain inventory records
• store and handle chemicals according to SDS guidelines and company protocols
• inspect shipments and report discrepancies
• collaborate with production, quality, and procurement
• maintain an organized warehouse and segregate chemical types as required
• support cycle counts and inventory audits
• follow PPE and safety procedures and assist with production or fabrication tasks as needed.
