The technician assembles and wires industrial control panels, connects automation components, and tests and troubleshoots electrical systems. The work supports safe, accurate operation of industrial equipment and follows manufacturing and electrical safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Build, assemble, and wire industrial electrical control panels
• install and connect PLCs, VFDs, relays, transformers, sensors, and terminal blocks
• read schematics and wiring diagrams
• perform point-to-point wiring
• connect motors and power supplies
• test systems and troubleshoot faults using diagnostic tools
• inspect completed work
• follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
