Staff Accountant, Client Advisory Accounting

The Staff Accountant role is onsite at one of Christianson’s Minnesota offices, including Sauk Centre; compensation is $58,700–$65,000 per year. The role supports the firm’s client advisory accounting work, helping clients use financial information to make informed business decisions. The accountant assists with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounting technology, and advisory projects. The work helps clients improve financial processes and reporting while supporting long-term client success.

What you'll do

• Assist with preparing, analyzing, and reviewing financial statements, management reports, budgets, and forecasts
• maintain client financial records and ledgers
• identify trends and variances and communicate findings
• assist with QuickBooks, Sage, and related accounting technology implementation, training, troubleshooting, and optimization
• support advisory engagements and process improvements
• maintain client relationships and stay current on accounting standards and firm processes.
