The Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician Specialist role is onsite in Falls Church, VA; compensation is not specified. Veterinary Emergency Group provides emergency veterinary care through hospitals open 24/7, 365 days a year. The technician supports emergency veterinary care from triage through discharge, working with doctors and the care team on treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing. The role requires availability for nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating or as-needed basis.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care and treatments from triage to discharge
• assist with medications, monitoring, IVs, CRIs, and blood transfusions
• perform diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tube placement
• support anesthesia and advanced techniques such as central lines, endoscopy, and ultrasounds
• perform CPR as trained
• support pet parents during emergency care.
