What you'll do
- Direct daily production through the flexible mandrel hose process
- assign employees to work orders and coordinate labor, equipment, and materials
- monitor output and order status
- coordinate changeovers
- verify work against specifications
- oversee applicable production stages and inspections
- address defects and rework with Quality
- train and coach employees
- enforce safety procedures
- coordinate equipment repairs
- monitor material availability
- record production, labor, scrap, rework, and downtime
- collaborate with Scheduling, Maintenance, Quality, the Mill Room, and Shipping.
