What you'll do

• Operate a hydraulic crane and heavy motorized equipment
• assist the driller with positioning the rig, adding rods or augers, and removing core samples
• inspect, clean, and maintain drilling equipment and vehicles
• log and package samples
• install steel piling in pre-drilled holes
• clean drilling sites
• perform field repairs and equipment maintenance
• follow safety practices
• lead or train lower-level operators as applicable.
