The Market Area CDL Driver Trainer role is onsite in Peabody, MA, with stated pay of $42–$48 per hour. The trainer works with Operations and Safety leadership to improve driver performance and promote a strong safety culture across the market. The role educates employees in safe and efficient vehicle operation through classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction. It evaluates readiness, supports onboarding and retraining, and reinforces safe driving practices across business lines.

What you'll do

• Deliver Smith System 5 Keys classroom and behind-the-wheel training
• conduct initial and refresher training, road tests, route observations, and retraining
• train and coach Designated Driver Trainers
• support new-driver onboarding and release decisions
• maintain certification compliance, training records, and reporting
• coordinate training schedules with Operations
• communicate incident trends with Safety Managers.
