Preschool Teacher

The Preschool Teacher role is onsite in Fort Mill, SC, with compensation of $15–$20 per hour. The Learning Experience’s stated mission is to make a difference in the lives of children, their families, and communities. The teacher creates a safe, welcoming classroom where young children can learn, play, and grow. Through the L.E.A.P. Curriculum and regular communication with families, the role supports children’s development and the center’s enrollment and engagement goals.

What you'll do

• Create an engaging classroom for young children
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children according to their needs
• maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment
• communicate children’s activities and achievements to parents through mobile apps and personal discussions
• partner with center staff and leadership on enrollment and engagement goals
• build relationships with families and coworkers.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED required; college early childhood education coursework preferred. At least six months of professional teaching experience and CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
