The Lead Vehicle Maintenance Technician works onsite in Stowe, VT, for a stated pay range of $25.45–$33.93 per hour. Vail Resorts’ year-round vehicle maintenance team services the resort fleet and supports internal guest service. The role performs and oversees fleet maintenance and repair while providing daily supervision to staff and projects. It helps keep vehicles and equipment safe and operational and supports fleet planning, utilization, and company safety practices.

What you'll do

• Train personnel in safe operation of fleet equipment
• diagnose and perform major engine repairs and overhauls
• repair fuel, ignition, electrical, cooling, hydraulic, and related systems
• perform field repairs
• inspect and repair braking systems
• supervise staff and projects
• assist management with fleet purchasing and rotation plans
• promote safety policies.
