What you'll do

• Operate hand and power tools and mobile equipment
• measure and mark work areas
• build and dismantle concrete forms and temporary structures
• dig, backfill, compact, and level earth
• break up pavement
• tend pumps, compressors, and generators
• signal equipment operators
• control traffic near work zones
• load, unload, distribute, clean, and repair materials, machinery, and tools.
