• Maintain plant system chemistry, radiological effluent, environmental, and analytical laboratory programs
• ensure compliance with technical specifications, radiological, and environmental regulations
• establish department goals
• provide technical direction to supervisors and technicians
• select and manage personnel
• oversee the annual budget
• lead training committees and programs
• coordinate emergency plan chemistry training
• represent the chemistry group in industry committees.
