The Overnight Shelter Staff Member works onsite in Palatine, IL, from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., for 24–32 hours per week; at least one weekend day is required. Pay is $17.50 per hour. JOURNEYS | The Road Home provides shelter, social services, and housing support to people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. This entry-level role oversees nightly shelter activities and helps maintain a safe, supportive environment. The staff member assists clients and visitors, documents incidents and observations, follows policies and emergency procedures, and responds to urgent situations.
