It contributes to production by assembling, modifying, and inspecting components, using technical documentation and equipment, and maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

What you'll do

• Assemble parts for electromechanical equipment
• inspect completed work and parts for flaws
• read schematics, blueprints, process plans, and drawings
• assemble, disassemble, and modify production subassemblies according to work plans
• use fixtures
• manually solder or epoxy electrical components
• operate solder reflow ovens, semi-automatic pick-and-place machines, and automated measurement systems
• use MRP and data-collection software.
