Data Engineer

The Data Engineer role is hybrid, with work locations in McLean, VA or Boston, MA. Pay is $60–$70 per hour on a W-2 basis. The role builds and tests pipeline stages, supports production readiness, protects sensitive data, and remediates security findings to help ensure reliable, compliant data processing.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain ingestion, validation, tokenization, reformatting, and publishing pipeline stages
• develop unit and end-to-end tests
• support system testing
• follow data-protection standards for sensitive data
• remediate vulnerabilities
• contribute to AWS implementations using Lambda, ECS, Kinesis, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, and CDK
• follow Git and CI/CD practices.
