Assistant Store Manager

The position reports to the Store Director and supports customer shopping experiences across store departments. The assistant manager supervises department activities, develops and supports employees, resolves customer concerns, and monitors labor, quality, and productivity. The role helps ensure the store delivers the products and service customers expect while supporting company growth.

What you'll do

• Supervise activities across store departments
• coach employees and conduct performance evaluations
• address employee relations issues and coordinate with Human Resources as needed
• interview candidates
• resolve customer complaints
• implement customer service standards
• manage labor costs
• monitor department quality and productivity
• promote items and specials through merchandising
• ensure safe equipment use and compliance with health, sanitation, and safety requirements
• support training and communicate with the Store Director.
