The Critical Care Physician Assistant role is onsite in Peoria, IL, working 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m.–7 a.m., 24 hours per week, with rotating weekends and holidays. Compensation is $60.39–$68.10 per hour, and the posting also offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a one-year commitment. The role is part of OSF HealthCare’s interdisciplinary critical care team. The Physician Assistant manages care for critically ill adult patients, evaluates and treats acute illnesses and injuries, orders and interprets diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescribes treatments, and performs invasive procedures under established protocols. The role also supports new admissions and provides education, consultation, and patient advocacy.
