Chief Estimator

What you'll do

• Manage the estimating department
• oversee estimate and proposal quality, accuracy, and timeliness
• assess RFPs and scopes and develop order-of-magnitude budgets
• determine estimating methods and resources
• address document deficiencies and project risks
• improve estimating processes and incorporate historical data
• coordinate with business development, project management, engineering, and other departments
• maintain estimate documentation
• review schedules, indirect costs, staffing, equipment, and cranes
• coordinate multiple estimates and proposals.
