Shift Leader

Job overview

The Shift Leader role is onsite in Plainview, NY. Compensation is $18.50–$24 per hour. The role reports to the General Manager and supports NAYA’s restaurant operations and service of Middle Eastern food. The shift leader guides team members through daily operations, maintains service and food standards, and supports sales, cost control, and a positive guest experience.

What you'll do

• Oversee food and beverage preparation and service
• manage shift schedules, ordering, inventory, cash handling, and administrative tasks
• hire, train, coach, and evaluate team members with the General Manager
• lead pre-shift meetings
• address guest concerns
• support catering and third-party orders
• monitor sales and labor metrics
• and ensure opening and closing procedures are followed.
