The assistant supports emergency patient care from triage through treatment and rounds, working alongside veterinarians and credentialed veterinary technicians. The role helps maintain continuity of care while offering guided learning and training toward additional clinical responsibilities.

What you'll do

• Welcome and triage incoming patients
• assist with treatments, nursing care, and diagnostics
• support anesthesia and sedation cases alongside credentialed technicians and veterinarians
• set up and manage IV fluids, transfusions, and medication administration
• assist with outpatient and inpatient care
• participate in patient rounds
• learn CPR and RECOVER certification through provided training
• pursue advanced responsibilities through guided training pathways.
