The Adjunct Instructor — Computer Information Technology role is onsite in Jackson, Tennessee, at Jackson State Community College; teaching may also include evening, off-campus, and distance-based courses as assigned. Compensation is $600 per credit hour. The instructor supports the college’s delivery of quality instruction using integrative technologies. The instructor teaches assigned courses, provides timely grades and student feedback, completes attendance and progress reporting, prepares course syllabi, and follows college and Tennessee Board of Regents policies. The role supports student learning and the department’s instructional needs as assignments become available.

What you'll do

• Teach assigned on-ground courses and evening, off-campus, or distance-based courses as required
• post grades and submit final grades by deadlines
• complete attendance, Early Alert, progress, and other required reports
• attend meetings as requested
• check and respond to college email
• submit or update course syllabi by required deadlines
• comply with college and TBR policies.
