What you'll do

• Work from drawings, layouts, and sketches
• plan work and select materials and metal gauges
• lay out materials to close tolerances
• set up and operate shears, CNC press brakes, saws, punch presses, and rolling equipment
• make complex machine setups
• identify faulty materials and report recurring defects or equipment problems.
