What you'll do

• Procure materials, parts, supplies, equipment, and services
• serve as the primary vendor contact for procurement
• evaluate proposals, pricing, schedules, risks, and technical considerations
• support sourcing strategies and contract development
• negotiate with suppliers
• locate and select suppliers
• coordinate shipping and receiving
• maintain purchasing data
• manage supplier schedule performance
• support continuous improvement
• assist the Purchasing Manager with team leadership and development.
