Cost Accountant, Manufacturing

The Cost Accountant, Manufacturing role is onsite in Tulsa, OK, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Compensation is $75,000–$90,000 per year, depending on experience. The role supports the financial performance of a manufacturing production operation. The accountant analyzes production costs, inventory, standard costs, and variances to improve cost visibility and inform operational decisions. Working with Finance, Production, Procurement, and Project Management, the role helps identify discrepancies, savings opportunities, and process improvements.

What you'll do

• Analyze material, labor, production, and overhead costs
• prepare cost accounting reports
• calculate and maintain standard costs
• investigate variances
• monitor inventory transactions and reconcile inventory
• support inventory valuation and financial reporting
• perform profitability and cost-benefit analyses
• support month- and year-end close
• prepare reconciliations and schedules
• and collaborate on cost-accounting process improvements.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and 2+ years of cost accounting, manufacturing accounting, or financial analysis experience. Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
