Construction Surveillance Technician

Job overview

The Construction Surveillance Technician role is onsite in Norfolk, VA, and is contingent upon award. Compensation is $60,000–$80,000 per year. The position supports security oversight during renovation of a secure facility. The technician monitors renovation activity and site access, identifies and documents security violations or construction anomalies, and prepares reports and documentation to help ensure work follows applicable security requirements and the Construction Security Plan.

What you'll do

• Monitor uncleared renovation workers and personnel
• submit daily electronic reports and photo documentation
• document and report security violations, unauthorized access, anomalies, and variances
• conduct inspections of materials, work, vehicles, entry and exit points, and physical security barriers
• perform site opening and closing procedures and random searches
• assist with documentation for the CA-07 draft accreditation package.
