CNC Operator, 1st and 2nd Shift Opportunities

Job overview

The CNC Operator role is onsite in Saint Charles, Missouri, with first- and second-shift opportunities. Compensation is $20–$30 per hour. Craftsmen Industries custom manufactures specialty trailers, vehicles, and large-format printed elements, producing work in-house from design and engineering through fabrication and finishing. The operator sets up, runs, monitors, and maintains CNC equipment to produce precision components that meet engineering and customer specifications. The role interprets drawings, selects tooling, checks dimensions and quality, maintains equipment and records, and supports safe, efficient production and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, routers, plasma tables, or other CNC equipment
• interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, work orders, and setup sheets
• load materials, fixtures, and tooling
• make approved offsets or adjustments
• inspect parts at first-piece, in-process, and final stages
• identify equipment or tooling issues
• perform routine maintenance and housekeeping
• document production and quality
• support changeovers and continuous improvement
• follow safety procedures and use PPE.
