Radiology Technologist

The Radiology Technologist is an onsite role based in Round Rock, TX. Compensation is not specified for this position, which supports St. David's North Austin Medical Center. This role exists to utilize x-ray equipment to assist in diagnosis and treatment. The technologist performs radiographic procedures and produces images for interpretation by licensed practitioners while ensuring patient safety.

What you'll do

• Perform all Diagnostic Radiologic Procedures.
• Demonstrate technique to produce optimal study.
• Correctly use all equipment in clinical area, including fluoro, c-arm, Tomo, and portable units.
• Interpret physician orders prior to performing exam.
• Refer technique/study issues to Senior Tech/Radiologist.
• Utilize appropriate markers/ID on each exam.
• Assist radiologist with procedures.
• Demonstrate sterile technique.
• Prepare patient for exams.
• Provide patient care throughout procedure.
