Overnight EVS Housekeeper – Palmetto General Hospital

Job overview

The Overnight EVS Housekeeper is an onsite position at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, FL. The schedule is Monday through Friday and every other weekend, from 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM. Pay is $15.00 per hour. The Environmental Services team maintains clean, safe spaces and supports infection control for patients, staff, and visitors.

What you'll do

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and public areas
• sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• remove trash and soiled linens
• restock cleaning supplies
• follow safety and PPE protocols
• maintain equipment
• provide respectful service while protecting patient confidentiality
• respond to special cleaning requests
• report cleanliness concerns and safety hazards
• follow facility policies and infection-prevention protocols.

Why this role
