Senior Field Service Technician

Job overview

The Senior Field Service Technician role is onsite in Knoxville, TN, with compensation of $33–$40 per hour. This role installs, services, and trains customers on general-purpose and application-specific equipment. It supports reliable equipment operation through troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and customer and technician training.

What you'll do

• Install and service general-purpose and customer-specific equipment
• diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic faults
• perform preventive maintenance, repairs, adjustments, and operational tests
• interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• troubleshoot and repair PLCs
• document service activities and expenses
• manage scheduled service calls
• support pre-installation planning, customer training, safety reporting, and customer relationships
• prepare service reports and bulletins
• identify upgrade opportunities and assist with parts sourcing.
