What you'll do

• Lead low- and medium-voltage power distribution design
• manage design deliverables through schematic design, design development, and construction documents
• prepare and review diagrams, calculations, layouts, and specifications
• design lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm, and other low-voltage systems
• develop drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP
• perform electrical calculations and studies
• coordinate with clients and other design disciplines
• ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations
• mentor junior designers and drafters
• manage project tasks and deadlines
• conduct field surveys and site visits
• respond to plan review comments and support construction administration
• provide technical input to preconstruction and estimating.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline and 3–8 years of electrical design experience. Professional Engineer licensure and specified analysis software experience are preferred.
