The Registered Nurse (RN) Oncology Infusion role is an onsite position located in Manchester, CT. This role exists to provide holistic, quality nursing care to patients within the outpatient Infusion Center. The Registered Nurse (RN) performs patient assessments, manages symptoms, administers chemotherapy and biotherapy, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care throughout the treatment continuum.
What you'll do
- Perform patient assessments and symptom management
- provide patient and family education
- administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, infusions, injections, and transfusions
- collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pharmacy, social work, and providers
- manage a caseload of patients receiving oral and infusion therapies
- triage patients using established pathways.
