What you'll do
- Assist with setup for dialysis treatments using NxStage or similar home machines
- keep the treatment area clean, organized, and safe
- provide companionship and reassurance
- help the patient stay on treatment schedule
- provide light activities-of-daily-living support as needed
- monitor safety and report concerns to the coordinating nurse
- maintain simple documentation and shift notes.
