Mental Health Technician

The Mental Health Technician role is onsite in DeSoto, TX, with compensation of $20–$24 per hour. Adams Clinical operates a clinical trial site network focused on data quality, participant safety, and diverse enrollment to advance healthcare. The technician supports participants and maintains a therapeutic environment in an inpatient research facility, working under clinical and research leadership. The role also assists with protocol-related clinical and laboratory tasks to support participant safety and research integrity.

What you'll do

• Provide therapeutic interaction and verbal de-escalation
• review handoffs and document shifts
• conduct 15-minute wellness checks
• supervise breaks and assist with meals and hygiene
• support scheduled activities
• monitor and document medication administration
• maintain rooms and laundry
• assist with admissions, discharges, and orientation
• complete incident reports
• collaborate on protocol compliance
• take vital signs, collect specimens, perform phlebotomy as needed, and process lab samples.
