Master Control Operator

Job overview

The Master Control Operator role is onsite in Littleton, CO. Compensation is $19–$24.04 per hour. The operator supports the on-air operations team during a major systems migration in 2026. The role helps maintain continuous, accurate programming across channel streams by managing playlists, checking material and commercial breaks, and monitoring audio, video, captions, and picture quality. It serves as a final operational check and supports rapid recovery from on-air discrepancies.

What you'll do

• Support programming quality control, commercial rehearsals, event preparation, on-air programming monitoring, and break support
• maintain and update on-air playlists
• execute program, commercial, and marketing changes
• support live-event and contingency workflows
• monitor channel streams and identify inconsistencies
• confirm material readiness for playout
• check audio, video, captioning, and picture quality
• coordinate with supervisors and production teams to resolve discrepancies.
