The Engineering Program Lead, Silicon Photonics role is onsite in North Reading, MA. Compensation is $153,600–$245,900 per year. The role supports Teradyne’s Silicon Photonics test and measurement platforms for advanced optical and semiconductor technologies. The lead owns technical execution across complex product development, aligning engineering disciplines from concept through production. The role drives architecture, requirements, integration, risk management, and readiness to improve product performance, manufacturability, reliability, cost, scalability, and delivery.

What you'll do

  • Lead technical strategy and decisions for product development programs
  • align multidisciplinary teams on architecture, requirements, priorities, and execution
  • identify and mitigate technical and integration risks
  • partner with program management on plans, schedules, and resources
  • deliver integrated solutions across hardware, software, optics, controls, and manufacturing
  • own technical execution through production release
  • lead trade studies, design reviews, readiness reviews, and phase-gate assessments
  • guide prototyping, integration, verification, validation, and production readiness
  • communicate technical status and recommendations
  • support supplier reviews and customer discussions
  • mentor technical contributors
  • champion quality, reliability, manufacturability, and compliance.
