What you'll do

• Clean and prepare metal surfaces
• set up and operate painting equipment
• mix paints and chemicals and control mixture properties
• assess paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality
• use spray guns and other tools to apply coatings
• verify colors against prints and designs
• strip, sand, mask, repaint, blend, and polish surfaces
• perform other listed coating and finishing tasks.
