What you'll do

• Investigate and resolve unpaid claims using payer portals
• contact commercial and government insurers about denied claims
• research denials, rejections, and payer policies
• submit reconsiderations and appeals
• document account activity
• manage medical-record requests
• track payer issues
• collaborate with Billing, Cash Posting, Contracting, and Intake
• follow up with patients on outstanding balances, including unapplied cash.
