Early Learning Support Staff

The Early Learning Support Staff role is onsite in Bonita Springs, FL, with pay of $15–$18 per hour. The position supports classroom teachers and children at the YMCA of Southwest Florida’s Early Learning Centers. Working under a teacher’s direction, this role helps provide instruction, supervision, and appropriate learning activities that support children’s social, intellectual, physical, and emotional development. It also contributes to safe classroom routines and positive communication with families.

What you'll do

• Assist the classroom teacher
• support learning activities and individual children
• assist with snack and lunch procedures and supervision
• help maintain classroom child-adult ratios
• clean classroom and playground areas as assigned
• welcome and support classroom volunteers
• communicate positively with parents
• report health and safety concerns
• attend scheduled staff meetings and school activities.
