What you'll do

• Provide comprehensive postpartum and mother-baby/couplet-care nursing
• assess and monitor mothers and newborns
• identify changes in condition and escalate concerns
• administer medications and treatments according to orders and protocols
• educate patients and families about recovery, newborn care, feeding, medications, and discharge
• document in EPIC
• collaborate with the healthcare team
• follow infection prevention, safety, hospital, and regulatory standards
• float within scope of practice as required.
