The assistant performs clinical tasks delegated by providers and supports patient-centered care through room preparation, patient assessment, procedure assistance, specimen handling, and documentation. The role also supports patient education, phone triage, and instrument processing to help maintain effective clinic operations.

What you'll do

• Prepare and stock exam rooms and patient charts
• take and record vital signs and medical histories
• prepare patients for procedures and assist providers
• perform bladder scans and catheter changes
• collect and label specimens
• conduct CLIA-waived testing
• provide patient education as needed
• document in electronic medical records
• cover patient triage calls
• clean, sterilize, and process instruments and equipment
• follow HIPAA and safety protocols.

Why this role

Full-time, 40 hours per week: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m. Requires completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent and BLS certification.
