The associate maintains the flow of cans through production, performing line assignments such as staging, water-bath monitoring, tipping, capping, and packing. The work includes checking product quality, documenting batch information, following safety and process requirements, and keeping the work area organized.

What you'll do

• Verify cans and production materials against batch tickets
• inspect cans for defects
• monitor filled-can weights and leaks
• remove defective cans and notify operators
• insert tips, verify lot codes, and set up labels
• verify caps and inspect cans before capping
• pack and label cans and boxes, seal boxes, and stack pallets
• follow PPE requirements
• keep the area clean and report problems to a supervisor.
