Overdose Prevention Trainer

The Overdose Prevention Trainer role is an onsite position based in Plainview, TX. The annual salary range is $37,315 to $41,371, and this role supports the behavioral health mission of the Central Plains Center. This role exists to provide community education and outreach regarding overdose prevention and response. The trainer will distribute reversal medications and provide accurate information about addiction treatment and harm reduction to promote individual dignity and independence.

What you'll do

• Offer community-education on overdose prevention and overdose response.
• Provide accurate and current best practice information about addiction treatment, harm reduction, recovery, and overdose prevention.
• Offer community-based distribution of overdose reversal medications.
• Provide vigorous outreach throughout HHSC Regions 1 and engage community partners.
