Food Service Worker

Job overview

The Food Service Worker role is onsite in Scarborough, ME, with a schedule of 40 hours per week, 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., including every other weekend. Compensation is $16–$17 per hour. Maine Veterans’ Homes provides short-term, long-term, and rehabilitative care to Veterans, their spouses, and Gold Star Parents. This role supports residents’ dining needs by assisting with meal preparation and service, following dietary guidelines, and maintaining food safety and sanitation. Courteous service and collaboration with dietary and clinical teams contribute to residents’ daily care.
