The Painter — Facilities and Grounds role is onsite in New York, NY, with travel between ICL-owned properties required. Compensation is $21.5046 per hour, and the schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. The role maintains the interiors, exteriors, and grounds of Institute for Community Living properties. The painter supports safe, clean, and well-maintained agency locations by preparing and painting surfaces, completing minor repairs, and assisting with grounds upkeep. The position also supports facility operations through signage, materials handling, and assistance with other trades when needed.

What you'll do

• Prepare and paint interior and exterior surfaces
• mix and match paint
• prepare work areas and surfaces
• perform caulking, taping, glazing, and specialty finishes
• operate spray equipment
• create and install signs
• requisition materials and maintain records
• keep work areas organized
• assist with other trades
• perform snow removal, landscaping, and grounds maintenance.
