The Press Operator — 1st Shift works onsite in Smyrna, TN. The operator runs and sets up press equipment to process coil material, checks product dimensions and condition against requirements, and communicates quality issues. What you'll do

• Reconcile coil identity and load coil
• inspect and record material characteristics
• thread coil through the leveler or flattener and feed unit
• set up dies, chutes, conveyors, and machine parameters
• make minor adjustments
• monitor product quality and production
• remove scrap, clean equipment and work areas, follow packaging specifications, and report quality problems.
