Intake Coordinator

Job overview

The Intake Coordinator role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA, with compensation of $17 per hour. The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers provide residential rehabilitation services and support for people facing social and spiritual challenges. The coordinator works with program staff to maintain a quality intake system, guide applicants through assessment and paperwork, and connect people who are not appropriate for admission with other resources. The role also maintains program records and supports the work therapy program.

What you'll do

• Develop referral relationships
• interview and assess applicants
• process intake paperwork
• maintain a waiting list and house tracking system
• assist applicants with forms and referrals
• support crisis intervention as needed
• maintain reports and beneficiary records
• operate and document compliance screening equipment
• and attend staff meetings and assigned events.
