The Toddler/Preschool Teacher role is onsite in Wakefield, MA. Compensation is $17–$24 per hour. Magical Beginnings operates early childhood learning centers focused on nurturing, engaging learning environments for children and families. The teacher creates a safe, supportive classroom and uses play-based activities to promote children’s cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development. The role supervises children, documents progress, partners with families and colleagues, and supports daily routines and classroom learning.

What you'll do

• Provide a safe, nurturing, engaging environment
• plan and implement age-appropriate activities
• support developmental milestones and positive behavior
• communicate with children, families, and team members
• supervise children in classrooms and playgrounds
• observe and document progress
• maintain an organized classroom
• follow licensing, health, safety, and company requirements
• assist with meals, rest, diapering or toileting, and transitions
• participate in training and team meetings.
